Terms of Service

Welcome to FairDome! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FairDome mobile application ("App") provided by RONSTECH LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "our," or "us"). By using FairDome, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FairDome, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. You must be at least 16 years old in the European Economic Area or 13 years old in the United States to use FairDome.

2. Description of Service

FairDome is a household expense management application that helps users:

• Track shared expenses within a household
• Calculate proportional expense shares based on income
• Manage balances and settlements between household members
• Generate expense reports and statistics
• Scan receipts to automatically create expenses (Premium feature)
• Generate AI-optimized shopping itineraries (Premium feature)

FairDome is a tool for tracking household expenses and should not be considered financial, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any calculations or data provided by the App.

3. Account Registration

To use FairDome, you must create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription Plans and Pricing

4.1 Free Plan

FairDome offers a free plan that includes:

• Expense tracking and management
• Balance calculations and settlement tracking
• Up to 2 household members
• Limited receipt scanning (5 scans/month)

4.2 FairDome Pro (Premium)

Premium features are available through subscription:

• Advanced monthly reports and charts
• Export data to CSV

4.3 AI Feature Usage Limits

Certain AI-powered features are subject to monthly usage limits to ensure service quality and sustainability. Current limits are displayed within the App. We reserve the right to adjust these limits with reasonable notice to subscribers.

4.4 Free Trial

New households may receive a free trial of Premium features as determined by the App. Trial availability, duration, and terms are displayed at the time of activation. After the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using Premium features.

4.5 Payment and Billing

• Subscriptions are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not by RONSTECH LLC directly.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's account settings (iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions).
• Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. RONSTECH LLC does not process refunds directly.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Enter false or misleading financial information
• Attempt to access other users' accounts without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the App
• Circumvent AI feature usage limits or abuse AI-powered features

6. Household Membership

When you join or create a household:

• You consent to sharing your expense data, balance information, and task assignments with other household members
• You agree that income information you provide will be used to calculate proportional expense shares, and that the resulting share percentages will be visible to other household members
• The household creator has administrative privileges to manage members and household settings
• You can leave a household at any time through the App settings
• Upon leaving, your historical expense data remains part of the household's records for accounting accuracy

7. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, share, and protect your data, including information about third-party AI processors used for receipt scanning and shopping itineraries.

8. Intellectual Property

FairDome, including its design, brand name, logo, features, and functionality, is owned by RONSTECH LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the United States and applicable international treaties. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RONSTECH LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content, expense calculations, or shopping route recommendations
• Any amount exceeding the total fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RONSTECH LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your violation of any third-party rights, or (c) your misuse of the App, except to the extent such claims arise from our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for material violations of these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• We will delete your personal data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law
• Active subscriptions should be cancelled through your device's app store settings to avoid further charges
• Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, and 15 survive termination of these Terms

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect, through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Subject to the Dispute Resolution section below, you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida for the resolution of any disputes.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of FairDome shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at support@fairdome.app. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Miami-Dade County, Florida, or remotely as agreed by the parties.

Class Action Waiver: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you and RONSTECH LLC agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable in your jurisdiction, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void with respect to you.

Exceptions: Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights. Claims eligible for small claims court in your jurisdiction may be brought in small claims court.

EU/UK Users: If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, this arbitration clause does not affect your statutory rights or your ability to bring claims in your local courts. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

16. Force Majeure

RONSTECH LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, government actions, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, or third-party service disruptions.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RONSTECH LLC regarding the use of FairDome and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
