Welcome to FairDome! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FairDome mobile application ("App") provided by RONSTECH LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "our," or "us"). By using FairDome, you agree to these Terms.
By downloading, installing, or using FairDome, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. You must be at least 16 years old in the European Economic Area or 13 years old in the United States to use FairDome.
FairDome is a household expense management application that helps users:
FairDome is a tool for tracking household expenses and should not be considered financial, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any calculations or data provided by the App.
To use FairDome, you must create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You agree to:
FairDome is a subscription app. After the free trial described in section 4.4, a subscription is required to use it — not for a set of extra features, but for the app itself. You can always reach your account settings and this page without one.
One subscription covers a household. Whoever created the household is the subscriber, and every member of it gets access.

Certain AI-powered features are subject to monthly usage limits to ensure service quality and sustainability. Current limits are displayed within the App. We reserve the right to adjust these limits with reasonable notice to subscribers.
The free trial is an introductory offer on the subscription itself, granted by the App Store when you subscribe for the first time. Its length is stated on the purchase screen and in the App Store's own confirmation sheet before you confirm — today it is 14 days. Eligibility is decided by Apple, per Apple ID: if you have used the offer before, you are charged the plan price immediately, and the App will not claim otherwise.
The trial converts into a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancelling during the trial keeps your access until the trial period is over.
Households created before September 2026 may hold a trial period granted directly by the App under earlier terms. Those keep the end date they were given.

When you join or create a household:
You can create a link to a single expense and send it to somebody who does not have an account — the person who was at the dinner but does not live in the house. Anyone holding that link can see that one expense: its name, date, amount, who paid it, and the first names of the household members who share it, with what each still owes. Nothing else about your household is shown, and no other expense.
The link is the whole key. Whoever has the address can open the page, so send it only to the person it concerns. You can revoke a link at any time from the expense it belongs to, and revoking it takes the page down.
A person who opens the link can tell you they have paid. That statement moves no money and changes no balance: it appears in the App for a member to accept or reject, and only a member accepting it records a payment.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, share, and protect your data, including information about third-party AI processors used for receipt scanning and shopping itineraries.
FairDome, including its design, brand name, logo, features, and functionality, is owned by RONSTECH LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the United States and applicable international treaties. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or meet your specific requirements. AI-powered features (receipt scanning, shopping itineraries, insights) provide estimates and suggestions that may contain errors; you are responsible for verifying their accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RONSTECH LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RONSTECH LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your violation of any third-party rights, or (c) your misuse of the App, except to the extent such claims arise from our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for material violations of these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination:
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect, through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Subject to the Dispute Resolution section below, you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida for the resolution of any disputes.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of FairDome shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at support@fairdome.app. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Miami-Dade County, Florida, or remotely as agreed by the parties.
Class Action Waiver: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you and RONSTECH LLC agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable in your jurisdiction, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void with respect to you.
Exceptions: Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights. Claims eligible for small claims court in your jurisdiction may be brought in small claims court.
EU/UK Users: If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, this arbitration clause does not affect your statutory rights or your ability to bring claims in your local courts. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
RONSTECH LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, government actions, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, or third-party service disruptions.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
